About Brent Rodgers

The creative roots of Brent Rodgers reach back to his childhood, where he would sculpt strange creatures and figures from clay.  He would obsessively draw colorful circular forms and patterns (protozoan like doodles) in his notebooks.  Still, he is drawn to these pathogenetic-scapes that he creates with acrylic and wire on wood or panel box canvases. His visceral wire sculpture forms "invade" and breakup or pass thru colonies of colorful jelly like circles or "cells", creating works that truly can only be appreciated in person.

Brent Rodgers, a Colorado native, has been a working artist in Denver for the past four years.  As a member of the Pork Chop Art Gallery,  Brent shows his work on First Fridays (a monthly night where galleries cater to art buyers and free wine seekers) April thru October.  Brent also sells his abstracts and sculptural works nationally and across the pond via the internet. Brent is one half of the Two Little Fruits Art Studio, where he works along side Derek Cadena, his life and business partner of 7 years.
